As you can see (if you have been following along), there are MANY different things your website needs to attract more clients.
In continuation with the “5 More Things Your Website Needs to Attract More Clients” mini-series, here are another 5 more things your website needs to attract more clients.
Great Headlines are Everything
Having a great headline will play an important role in your blog. It is always the first thing that people will read, so the more compelling and relevant they are the better. They’ll pull your prospect to your content. Practice writing headlines. Test headlines to determine what your prospects respond to.
Creating Webinars
You can take your website up a level by offering webinars and using the tool to provide teaching opportunities to your prospects and customers. You can even use material from the webinars as the foundation for new content on your website.
Exceptionally Effective Call To Actions
Include a call to action in every single piece of content you publish on your website – even if you merely want someone to stay on your site and read some more. Tell your visitors what to do next and help guide them through your site step by step.
Have You Been Featured On The News?
If you’ve had the opportunity to be featured on the news then share the logo of that show on your website. Do you know how powerful a “As Seen on CNN” logo can be? It could positively impact your business in a way you can’t imagine.
Have You Written A Book?
If you’ve written a book then list it on your website. As a writer, you can use your books to promote yourself as a credible source and you can advertise your book at the same time. Hitting two birds with one stone!

Now that is a dream to wish for, to be featured on CNN! How do I get there? That’s the big question! 🤔
Paul says
Build up to it – that’s how you get onto CNN. Start local – can you get on any local radio stations. Then move up to local tv. Then in your state… and so forth. The big stations typically like to see someone that has some experience being on camera.

I keep bookmarking all these really good posts. I need to keep working on my grabbing readers with more effective titles. I also finally put my ebook on there too. Small steps 🙂

Way to go! You go, Kemkem.

Headlines and direct calls to action are definitely needed. I see this a missing link in engagement. You have to draw people in, then tell them what you want them to do. If you can do that successfully the rest almost takes care of its self. Great article. Thanks for sharing it.
Paul says
That is exactly it, Shonda!

I’m going to have work on my headlines. I know they should all have keywords and be fascinating. Sigh. But even more important – I have gotten away from calls to action! I must work on that. I always write my challenge posts in advance. Perhaps I’ll look them over and see how I might spruce them up before they post. Thanks so much, Paul!
Paul says
Jeanine – go back to those scheduled and just review them. There are some plugins you can add to your site that will put a call to action after every post, automagically! Maybe I will write a post about that – a plugin review! Thanks.
