WordPress Page Not Found

Page Not FoundI received this question from a reader and thought it was a great one to share with everyone. At some point or another, this may happen to you!

Hi Paul – thanks for your great work! I love that you share so much good information. The next time you open your coaching program, you can bet I will sign up. Now that you are sufficiently buttered up, let me ask you a question 馃檪

When anyone clicks on the link to comment on my site, it goes to a Page Not Found page and not the comments page. Any ideas why this happening?

Well, you are right – I am smiling and ready for folks to sign up for the Private Coaching Program!

However, to answer your question, let me say it is an easy one (most likely). I suggest you check your permalink structure. Changes are you have a typo or something when you set it up. You聽 do not indicate if this is a new blog or not; I would assume it is and that you probably are encountering this issue in other places as well.

In a post that deals with SEO, Optimize Your WordPress Site, I also talked about permalinks – you might want to read that.

I hope this helps!

Glad you figured it out, Solvita! it is a common mistake – most of the times, as a result of a simple typo!
