And more!

OK – this last part is a little geeky, but if you are a developer, you understand what this means! Check that you are sending the correct number of parameters!
If you aren’t geeky, then you you might see more errors listed in your error log if a plugin or theme developer has not updated this!

I have my blog backed up by WordPress every night. Is there somewhere else I should back it up before I upgrade? Thanks for this info
Paul says
Are you sure it is being backed up, Martha? How easily can you get the site restored if an issue does occur? Sometimes it can be a pain in the neck to get a hosting company to restore a website if we need it to be restored. It is always a good practice to do a ‘dry run’ to see if backup procedures are really working.

Hi Paul,
Thanks for the reminder. Just updated a few hours ago. Also had some themes needing updates. Sometimes I feel like a lumberjack, spending as much time sharpening the tools as I spend doing the work.
Paul says
I know how that feels, Doug! We are constantly working on client sites and when the updates come out… well, we are just as busy! I feel your pain 😉
