I like them. The third one is my favorite and I would like it even more if the top line was larger than the bottom line. Building your own website is the important thing for me.
I think the issue with that, Robin, is that the top text is LONGER, therefore in order for it to fit, it has to be a little smaller since it is a long narrow strip
The other two have more room, so the top line can be broken out into 2 lines and made larger.
Ooh! How controversial! The banners are great but I’m not sure about the firing of the webguy particularly if there are technology issues! And then, what would the poor web guy do then? Can I suggest saying something like know as much as your webguy!
My intent, Janet, is that someone would click the banner and read the sales page. On it, they would find out that the course offers a lot more than just building the site, but taking control over all the issues, building a list, monetizing it, driving traffic, etc.
I like the color, the globe, the WordPress logo, the hard drive, but I’d go with Webmaster too. The whole banner is attention-getting. My logic reverses the two phrases and says “Fire Your Webmaster. Build your own website.”
Maybe when I go back and have some more banners created, I will do that! I plan on providing these banner for use by affiliates as well – the more they can choose from, the more targeted it can be for their particular audience!
i like them – especially the longer banner with the addition of website themes.
webperson sounds a bit akward but being a female (who doesnt mind being called guy) some of my sisters might feel left out especially since some think “webdesign is a male domain” … and webmaster sounds way to high for the moment.
what about webpersonality? or webhome?
(than you have the connection to homepage!)
bigger banner
underneath the slogan
“fire your webperson”
it looks darker than the rest.
is hat intended?
and the edges disturb me a bit – of the darker parts behind fire…
Hi Paul – always tricky with the gender thing! Have you thought about a phrase like “Easy Steps to build your own website” – Easy and Simple and Steps are all good words to attract those who would have thought they needed a webmaster because web building was beyond them.
Just a thought – good luck with the promo 🙂
Hi Paul, the logos are fantastic, but as other people say I would prefer “Webmaster”. And I will be interested in the affiliate program. Thank you for your comment at my blog. And yes, you are right about you told me there, even I have affiliate programs, as Amazon, but I have to implemented. I will come back to see how are the logos.
They look good! Do you mind saying who did these (or at least what service — ODesk, etc. — you used)? I need to have this done myself, and my one recent experience with outsourcing banner design left me a little scarred.
Looks good but I’ve never heard of a “webperson” so I would change that… WebGuy, orWebMaster,
I was going to have it say, “WebGuy”, but I know plenty of females who handle the website. So, that is not really a good term.
why not just use ‘webmaster’ . . i think that’s a term everyone who owns a website is finally familiar with . . . no???
