Confession time… I have not been sharing as frequently as I could have been sharing here on the site. My blogging has been sporadic at best due to lots of other things going on. I am going to turn that all around starting today!
Yes – I have taken on a challenge – specifically, I am participating in the Ultimate Blog Challenge! I am going to be posting 31 posts during the moth of October! That comes out to be 1 post a day.
You have heard me talk about the challenge before (Ultimate Blog Challenge); in case you didn’t hear about it, The Ultimate Blog Challenge (UBC) was inspired and created by 2 of my friends, Connie Ragen Green and Dr. Jeanette Cates. It was later taken over by 2 other friends of mine, Michele Scism and Michelle Shaeffer.
While it sounds like a lot of work, when I do a little bit each day, it is easier. That is my plan – one a day.
Why would I do this? Lots of good reasons including:
- Increased visibility – More blog posts means more opportunity for people to see it!
- Increased Google Love – More blog posts written on a consistent basis causes Google to sprinkle its love all over my site! This will result in better rankings!
- Decreased Alexa Score (the lower the score, the better!)
- Build relationships and become part of a Community – I have met folks online and ended up working with them because of it! This is a great way to expand your reach.
There is still time for you you to sign up and join. I am personally inviting you to take the Challenge! Actually, this invitation extended to you is coming from one of the new owners of the challenge! You see, I have been enjoying the Ultimate Blog Challenge so much, my partner and I are now the proud owners! That’s right! I have the honor of running it from today and going forward!
Come join us at Ultimate Blog Challenge!

It’s an exciting way to begin the 4th quarter – the final stretch for 2014. Just think of all that can come out of a focused effort to drive traffic to your website. Paul – you nailed on the head with your 4 reasons why 馃檪
