When you stumbled upon articles about famous web celebrities, overnight millionaires with their ludicrous salaries, it’s difficult to not fantasize about establishing your own wealth online.
You are probably thinking about starting up a website as a means of making money. A website can be a remote version of your brick and mortar business, but it can also be a business in and of itself.
Every individual has a special skill, something they’re good at, something that they had developed through the years. One of the easiest ways to earn money online is sharing your expertise to the world. The Web is full of people who are seeking knowledge, be it from other people. Build a website from your own knowledge and experience.
Share your personal stories. People online like reading and learning from another person’s perspective. For example, you might share examples of your crazy experiences and things behind closed doors. You can take a humorous approach, whichever you want, as long as you keep it unique.Write reviews of products and services. You can write reviews of the products and the services that you use in the line of you expertise. This is a valuable opportunity to build user trust.
People look for advice and new information that they can take in and apply themselves. The knowledge and experiences that you’ve gathered through the years, share it to the Web where it will serve as a source of expert advice for people who want to know what you know, do what you did, and use what you used – the tools and supplies that they need to do what you do and do it well. If you set all of this up right, you’ll be surprised of how your simple sharing of knowledge can turn to a stream of income that be running day and night, year after year.
Kathy Widenhouse says
So true! People go online to look for information. (I know I do.) Mediapreneurs provide it for them. And why NOT you?
Paul says
Exactly, Kathy! And why not you! Grab your slice of the pie!
Martha says
Are you writing this to me? I love writing crazy experiences and also product reviews. With the help of my granddaughter, we’re working on a cookbook too.
Paul says
Of course, Martha! This was your personal post today 馃檪
Let me know when the cookbook is available! Are you taking advance orders?
Julie JordanScott says
When I first built my business (this was 1999 – 2001) I did all my promotion via ezine articles and republishing my content. I have no idea how to get my current work republished/syndicated.
Any advice in that circumstance?
Paul says
Do you still have the content? Why not start to publish it on your website (if it isn’t already)? What are you looking to do with it, Julie?
