There are a few BIG things happening today… The start of a new quarter! The start of the Second half of the year! And, the start of another Ultimate Blog Challenge!
Not only do I coordinate and run the challenge, each time it happens (which is once a quarter), I am a participant! Since July has 31 days in it, I will be blogging 31 times in July – my plan is to write one time a day, each and every day.
For me, that is a lot! I have a lot of my plate this month, with work, building websites, conducting training, speaking, and well… LIFE! And I will do my best to get each and every one written.
Although many people fear not knowing what to write about each and every day, an email is sent out with an idea to act as a springboard. Each day you will be provided with a topic to write about. This suggestion is just that – a suggestion. If the idea resonates with you, great! you can use it. Or, if you want, you can go “off-script” and write about anything else you want to write about. In the past, I have ended聽up with a mix of blog posts – some that follow the suggestion, and some blog posts where I wrote about other topics.
Part of the challenge involves a Facebook group where there is a whole community of folks to help out should聽you need encouragement, ideas, etc. Plus, you can share your daily post in the group and other people will come to visit your website and leave a comment! This is a great way to get traffic, increase your engagement on your website, and get better SEO overall.
One of the best things about this is that it is free! You do not have to pay anything to join!
If you would like to join and get more traffic to your website, visit the Ultimate Blog Challenge today!

This truly is a challenge because, like you Paul, I have lots going on including a vacation trip for a week. I really want to do this and am determined to see it through to the end of the month.
Thanks for keeping this Blog Challenge going as this helped to grow one of my other blogs back in 2010 through 2012. Some of the connections I made then are still a part of my online and even offline world.
Paul says
Same thing here, Yvonne! I have been a part of it for years (well before I started running it!) I have made great friends because of the Ultimate Blog Challenge!
Adrienne Dupree says

YAY!!! it’s challenge month again! Because of your awesome challenge, it really gets my brain in the thinking mode Paul! I love the daily emails with suggestions, although there are times I use my own if I’ve written one the evening before, but they really do come in handy when I have brain fade! LOL I have a challenged July already but I’m always ready for a blog challenge!!
Paul says
I love it, Martha! Brain Fade! LOL! Welcome back!

I am participating this July. I posted on Facebook, and found my post had a little star indicating I had joined the UBC group 7 years ago today. Time flies! Thank you for all your hard work in hosting this once again!
Paul says
My how time flies, huh? That could be up to 28 Challenges for you! WOW!
Janice Dugas says
Hi Paul, thank you for putting up this challenge. My first time around 馃檪 Blogging consistently is so important to get our message out. This challenge will keep us on track and make way for a positive habit!
Was referred to it by Cynthia Charleen Alexander. 馃檪 #blogboost
Paul says
Welcome, Janice! Glad you are here! I agree with everything you say – LOL! Spot On!
Cynthia is great!

Barbara Radisavljevic says
I’ll have to skip this round. I am trying to blog every day, but I’m spreading it out between several blogs.
Paul says
The challenge is really designed for writing on 1 website and not spreading yourself thin. You could always do it in a Double Dose and write 31 posts for 2 blog (for a total of 62 posts this month!)
Barbara Radisavljevic says
I tried that the first time around and it nearly killed me. I know the challenge is designed for just one blog, so that’s why I’m skipping this time. I enjoy the challenges but I have to decide which blog I want to focus on before I join another challenge.
Paul says
Sounds good, Barbara – don’t overextend yourself!
