(This post has been updated on 1/2/2014 – read on and you will understand what I mean!)
Today I once again signed up for another round of the Ultimate Blog Challenge – Yes, I will once again be participating!
What is the Ultimate Blog Challenge you may ask.. Well, I am glad you did!
The Ultimate Blog Challenge (UBC) was inspired by 2 of my friends, Connie Ragen Green and Dr. Jeanette Cates. It was later taken over by (and is currently run by) 2 other friends of mine, Michele Scism and Michelle Shaeffer.
Now that the formal introductions are done, let me explain what it REALLY is! The Ultimate Blog Challenge is a challenge for you. You are to write 31 bog posts in 31 days. You do not have to write one a day (but I found it helps!) – you are just ‘agreeing’ to write and post 31 posts during the month of January. What a way to start off the new year!
You are held accountable to yourself and to the Challenge Community.
The聽 challenge takes place every January, April, July and October! If you miss this month (since it is starting in just a few days), you can get in on the action in APril. Of course, if you are reading this in the early parts of January, you might want to play catch up and write a few posts a day so that you can accomplish the magic number of 31 posts.
By the way – there is nothing special about joining! If you have a blog, you can participate! All you have to do is sign up at The Ultimate Blog Challenge and start writing!
I can’t recall how many challenges I have participated in – maybe this is my sixth or seventh. For this Challenge, however, I am doing something different than I have done before! This time around I am going to be regularly blogging on 4 sites (one site will get the full blog challenge, that is 31 posts in January. One site will get a post every other day (1/2 challenge??) and another site will get a post every other day (another 1/2 challenge).
Of course, you do not have to do anything that bizarre and complicated! I just want to try something different this go around! It really means that will have 62 posts to write in 1 month!
Whoops! I almost forgot to mention… it is FREE! It will cost nothing!
I hope to see you there!

Great article, Paul. I’m doing the Challenge. One of the things I love about these things is that we get to visit other people’s blogs and meet more bloggers. That’s super! Have fun!

Welcome, Jeanne! Glad you could stop by!
