5 Free Online Resources – that is what someone just asked for in an email. You see, I just received an email asking for some of my favorite resources that I would share. Instead of hitting reply, I am creating a quick post here.
Of course, I have many more that I use. These are some that I can utilize when i am on the road, or even at my office at home.
I am listing them in no particular order. Some get used more than others’ but each one has a purpose!
- Free Online Picture Resizer – Crop and Resize photos, images, or pictures online for FREE! – I use anything from PhotoShop to Preview (on the Mac) to resize images. This website, however, is great when I am away from my desktop computer and want to resize images.
- Stock.xchng – a great site for free and royalty free images. Makes sure you follow the licensing agreements as in some cases you need to provide the photographer with credit. In many other cases, you do not.
- DaButton Factory – Need to create a button for a site? Here is a quick and easy place to do it! You can choose colors, sizes, text, just about everything you can imagine on a button!
- SteveWord.com – You can get a bunch of Internet Marketing reports. The follow-up emails have some great content as well. It is an opt-in, but so far, the content is great!
- http://millionshort.com/– this is a great site that strips off the top 1 million search results. Sometimes I want some information that is not exactly what the “BIG” sites want you to see. This
search engine that removes the top 1 million results!
What resources so you frequent? Leave a comment and share it/them with us!

Omigosh! I LOVE dabuttonfactory! Thanks so much a great link… not only am I going to use it to make just what I want — only easier — I can also see myself becoming addicted!
One of my fave photo sources is
123rf.com/freeimages.php — loads and loads of searchable images, and easy attribution. The free selection is always changing, so chances are good that you’ll find something you can use.

Glad I could help, Allison! I have used 123rf.com in the past as well and I agree – great images there (both free and paid!)
