3. Outsource Your Blog to a Professional

4. Always Write 100% Original Content

5. Not Every Post Needs to Have an Image

6. Stick to One Type of Format

I don’t post 5 times a day, I would go nuts… But I truly love leaving blog comments because I really feel as though I have made some amazing blogging friends! 馃檪

I agree, GiGi! Keep in mind that there are different reasons why people leave comments on blogs. One of them, as you point out, it to engage with the author and develop a relationship. I highly recommend blog comments for that reason. Keep it up!

Praise be the Lord that the rule about blogging 5 times a day is disappearing. I never followed that one because I like to write content that gets read, not just anything for the sake of content.

I’m like GiGi and comment only when inspired by the blog post and if I don’t have anything valuable to add to the conversation, I share it across social media so that others are made aware of the post.

Funny thing but the blog posts that I have written defying all rules and regulations (read SEO optimized) are the ones that Google loves and which actually get readership. How about that, Paul? 馃檪

Sometimes we just don’t know what Google is thinking, do we, Vatsala?!? Overall I still say that the best SEO long-term is going to be CONTENT!
